We participate in three major charity events each year

Everyone at Clyde's Market is proud of the fact that each year our charitable donations exceed the previous year's total. God has blessed us with wonderful and caring customers and staff. They are responsible for the success of each event.

The MDA Shamrock promotion was the first event of the year. It kicked off the first of February and continued through St. Patrick's Day. The event raised $23,374.75, the largest amount ever, with100% of the proceeds going to MDA.

Our second, and largest event was Clyde's Market Benefit Golf Tournament. The major beneficiary of this event is the United States Army's 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. The 3rd ID has been the major beneficiary of the event for the last nine years. Donations to the 3rd ID have totaled over $210,000.00 during that time.

The golf tournament raised $86,000.00 this year, and after expenses there was $74,000 to donate to various charities. The recipients were the 3rd ID, the Joseph Home for Boys, Paul Anderson Youth Home, the Pledger House, the Sunshine House, New Beginnings in Christ, The Glennville Recreation Department, The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Southern Christian Sports Devotional, and, several local academic scholarships.

St. Jude's Children's Hospital Halloween event was our third fundraiser and was held in October. We raised $12,226.00 for the hospital this year, our largest amount ever. 100% of the monies raised went to St. Jude's.

Clyde's Market raised a total of over $121,600.00 this past year for well deserving organizations. God has allowed us to be successful and has given us many blessings including our hard working, loyal staff and our caring, compassionate customers; without them none of would have been possible.
